This squirrel is about 9” tall and 5” wide.
I have a small collection of glass animals and thought he would make a nice addition.
Wedgwood produce a range of animals in smoked glass, and , although this squirrel is large, I thought it might be one of theirs. It isn’t and I can’t find any markings upon it. It’s very heavy .
Any thoughts on origin would be gratefully received
Many thanks to BHIFOS, kwqd, Deano ,fortapache , newfld, dav2no1, Cokeman1959, watchsearcher and whenisraelbelieves for the very much appreciated loves.
Jenni (Newfield1) would know who made this!
It does resemble my Murano Vincenzo Nason glass squirrel (type that into our search box above, & hit enter), which is also heavy and looks quite a bit like it but yours has hands. V. Nason made alot of animals in this grey so that's my guess
Racer4four thanks so much for the suggestion and Newfld thanks so much for the information . It does look very much like yours, especially the feet and tail. Thanks very much to you both for sharing your knowledge with me. Thanks to you both for the love.
Many thanks to Newfld and PhilDMorris for the love. Greatly appreciated .
