Any idea what the story being depicted on these Russian dolls may be? There are 7 in total with the artist’s signature on the bottom

Any idea what the story being depicted on these Russian dolls may be? There are 7 in total with the artist’s signature on the bottom

They are supposed to be symbols of fertility..mother, child, etc. Yours are interesting..looks almost like some fairy tale.
The words on the bottom are “Sergiev Posad” - Russian town that grew near the Saint Sergius of Radonezh monastery. Sergiev Posad is famous for folk art and toys (like this matryoshka set) that are made and sold as souvenirs to tourists and pilgrims for at least the last 150 years.
Paintings on these matryoshkas are based on popular folk tales. At least some of them.
#1 and 2 I can’t tell you much about. #3 is the copy of Alyonushka by Viktor Vasnetsov. The painting is themed after the Sister Alyonushka and Brother Ivanushka folk tale.
#4 is an episode from Ruslan and Lyudmila poem by Aleksandr Pushkin.
#5 is from Gusi-Lebedi (The Magic Swan Geese ) folk tale.
#6 looks like The Humpbacked Horse by Ershov
#7 don’t know, it just looks like a random church
These dolls have no symbology. Matryoshkas were always just toys and souvenirs. First Matryoshka was based on a Japanese nesting dolls and was designed by russian artist Malyutin in 1890.
Your dolls are not very old.
