The Glass Encyclopedia says “ The name "Jack-in-the-Pulpit" glass refers to a shape of vase, which has a collar pulled down in the front and raised at the back. It is a similar shape to the flower of the same name. Jack-in-the-Pulpit was the name first used by Louis C. Tiffany to describe some of his beautiful vases around 1900, but a very similar shape of vase was made in England as far back as the 1850's by companies such as Stevens and Williams. Several English and European companies made this shape of vase in the late 19th century and later, but often identified it by a number or a different name. Jack in the Pulpit is the most common name, but many companies used different ones. The vase on the left is a modern (1990's) piece by the Fenton Art Glass Company, who have made many beautiful shapes and colours of Jack-in-the-Pulpit vases. Fenton do not use that name and always call them "Tulip" vases.”. he flower that gaves the name to the shape is a wild plant from North America the Arisaema triphyllum. https://gobotany.nativeplanttrust.org/species/arisaema/triphyllum/
In CW there are lots of JITP vases but the all of them with great differences of color, texture, shape. We payed U$10 to Rubén Marhuenda for it a few days ago. We went for the first time after the pandemia time to his salesroom and Ricardo saw it and said “these are your favorite colors mom” and it is true, I love all the blues and greens. As in all vases with glass layers of different color, the aspect changes when illuminated with natural or artificial light, I tried to catch this with taking the picture with and without flash. No idea who made it though similar ones are offered as Murano glass on eBay. The pontil is partially levigated and do not appear very smooth.

I have always seen these as Chinese. In my opinion that is good and not bad. I have seen them here in Australia quite often.

I love Jack in the Pulpit vases! I have some older ones from my mother's time. The colours of this one are just gorgeous. No idea who made yours, sadly, but it's certainly a beauty!

It's a lovely and appealing vase Sylvia.
I agree it's Chinese which is no detriment when it appears nicely made and is so attractive.
