Here is a 4 1-2"H round handpainted pink glass trinket box with kitten on scalloped lid, the kitten was from Fenton item #5119 old style kitten originally designed in the 1980s, this box ca late 90s-early 00s. Fenton oval logo imprint under box plus silver Fenton label
The pink works perfectly with all the sublime candy colours, this kitten is a total joy to behold !~
wonderful box, what do you think to put in?
Nice color and pose. We were buying a lot of glass yesterday and my sister was hesitant, but I made the decision to include the Indiana glass sleeping cat in the lot...people love cats!
Very sweet little box this, reminds me of vintage things from 50s or 60s? I think it would have looked well in a young girls room from that time period- or is it kitschy? Is that the word for it? ????
Thank you everyone for the kitty love

Phil thank you for your awesome compliments, it is a pretty candy pink that surely brings out the cute in this kitten
Thank you kivatinitz for your super comment & great question, for now it is holding those pastel Valentine "conversation sweetheart" candies, but after the holiday I can think of many good uses for it, certainly would be pretty on a vanity table or bedroom dresser to hold small items & will add cheer to the room
Dave you are totally right that people love cats, esp many CW members are cat lovers (I'm neutral & love dogs equally though they are certainly more work as pets which I'm sure you know with your beautiful Belgians) and I do try to please when I find nice cat items. The Indiana Glass sleeping cat votive is terrific and I think your sister will be happy you got it. Thanks for your wonderful comment
Thank you Lauren for your fab praise for this kitty box isn't it a cutie I love the cupcake shape. Fenton made many of these but in other colors & painted differently, when I saw the hearts I was, OK, great for Valentine's! It really would go very well in a little girl's room - or also a big girls like mine :) You could call it kitschy, it does have that flamingo pink color that was very popular with nostalgic 50s-60s items, they often combined pink with aqua blue, sort of baby colors but very cheery and pleasant
Too! Cute…
Penny thanks so much for loving this cutie & your super compliment, I'm really glad you liked it, the painted hearts make it rather romantic & I thought nice for this holiday
Many thanks vintagelamp for the kind love for this Fenton kitty box, so pleased that you enjoyed it and very grateful for your thoughtfulness
