Fairbanks Scale, rescued from the curb and brought back to life

This was set out on 'big pick up day' in a subdivision. I slammed on my brakes and grabbed it, it was super heavy. When I brought it home and showed my husband, he just shook his head (I have a habit of trash picking), after several months of sitting in the garage, he tackled it. Using a wire wheel he removed all the rust, (wished I had a pic of it when it was found in the wild). He took it all apart and cleaned everything up. Once put back together, it looked fantastic. The last picture is of the parts I found on the curb. He ended up buying the counter hanging weight and the scoop pan off ebay. The other weights are used only as a display. Another scale in our collection is pretty and on display.
