    Hello everyone!!
This small solid bronze Dachshund dates back to the very early 1900's. It was made by Franz Xavier Bergman in Vienna, Austria. This little Dachshund was once cold painted, but has lost most all of his paint over the past 100+ years. It is signed and numbered on the underside, "Geschutzt" which means registered or copyrighted. It's numbered with what appears to be 307. This one is quite small and measures only 1 7/8" long and 1 1/4" tall.

Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
    Scott

Thanks Falcon!! You're absolutely right. Over the past 30 years, we've owned 4 Dachshunds. Three smooth coat males and, currently, a longhair female.

Thanks Jenni!! I love the detail on this one. I have another that's nearly identical, with most of it's original paint, but much newer than this fella.

Thanks Eileen!! I love my Dachshunds and, though this fellow is small, he's full of detail. Thanks again!!
