Hello everyone!!
I recently added another cast iron gentleman fox to my collection (the one on the left) . As with the other cast iron gentleman fox, this one was also very rusted and had to be cleaned and painted. I loved the color the first one so well that I painted this one in the very same color scheme. The castings are so smooth and very well cast. As I've mentioned in my previous post, I would expect to see this in bronze, but never cast iron. These gentlemen are very British and both came to me from across the pond. These gentlemen each measure 11 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" front to back and weigh in at 7lbs 6oz each.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
Scott

Now those are tails! Saw a movie once where a fox was down by a river and he was swinging his tail around in a circular motion .. so funny! And the narrator said, " now that's a tail!"
Eileen,
Thanks!! Yep, these gents do have quite large tails, but I've yet to see a red fox that didn't:)
Hi Scott, just dropping by to say hi. I remember once I was on a deer trail on my mountain hunting chanterelles and this little red fox almost came nose to nose with me. He was so beautiful but terrified of me :(. He turned around and booked down the path. My Father used to leave food out for the wildlife in the winter (not the greatest idea) but he though he was helping. Turns out Foxes love ice cream! Ha!
prettymollie,
Thank you so very much for the love!!!
