Steve M. Allen is the local owner of several studios and corresponding galleries. These pieces were made by Steve before he got heavily into managing numbers instead of clays and glazes. I hadassumed that the glaze on them was built up and then scraped off and then built up again, but i was told that there is no scraping or removal, but very careful application only. The big new pot is a composter - a place to keep my compost till it turns into a black, smelly, liquid - which i can dump onto my 10 yd composting bins at the nursery.
