This bowl is 2.25" high x 4" in diameter. It is signed, I think, "Kranz", on the bottom. I found this and another signed, Japanese themed piece which I think is also signed by this potter a few inches apart at a thrift shop today for $.99 each. I found several potters named Kranz, but not sure if one of them was the creator of these pieces,
Pretty sure this is American art pottery.

Beautiful swirl pattern & nicely glazed
Thanks for your comments, Jenni! When I first saw it, I thought it was lacquer
ware. It is very thin.
Thanks for loving my Kranz bowl Blammoammo! Watchsearcher, Falcon61, jbingham95, Jenni, Kevin, fortapache, PhilDMorris, jscott0363, Vynil33rpm and dav2no1!
I can see a Japanese influence in your Kranz pieces Kevin.
Very attractive.
Thanks, Karen! Definitely an influence on this potter, who was very talented.
Thanks, Karen, vcal, Cisum, mp.kunst, Blammoammo and Watchsearcher!
