Hello everyone!!
Another cold painted Austrian bronze piece from my collection. This one depicts a "sprinting hare". He's the largest one of it's kind that I have in my collection. This one is faintly stamped with "AUSTRIA" on it's underbelly. The smaller one, in the first pic, is the miniature version of this design and I posted that one 5 years ago. I love the incredible lifelike colors and fine details of these Austrian hares. This one is quite large measures 5 1/4" long and 2 5/8" tall. It weighs in at over 14oz!
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

Vynil,
Thanks very much for clicking that love so quickly!!
amazing very beautiful
Hares are Quick!
Some species are capable of short bursts of speed between 40 and 50 MPH and more consistent speeds of around 30 MPH. Thanks to their powerful hind limbs, they can leap 10 feet in the air.
A sprinting hare bronze figure.... very nice!!
Great painting job on this cute treasure !~
Thanks kivatinitz!!
Thanks very much Falcon!! That's an awesome factoid that I did not know.
Thanks Phil!! I love the beautiful paint work on the Austrian bronze pieces as well. I wish I could paint like that.
