    This incense burner is 3" high x 3.25" in diameter. It is marked "NIPPON" and an indistinct kiln mark on the bottom. Offered as "Bizenware" which is not. I have still not found the correct term used to identify this type of 1891-1921 Japanese pottery. I call it "kuro ware" or black ware. I bought this to confirm my suspicion that the bottom part of one of these I put on CW awhile back was missing its top.

    No idea who made this.
