Hello CW people,
I recently bought this silver gem bracelet. It is marked for 925 the stones are sapphire, ruby, emerald, garnet, aquamarine and peridot. The clasp is a tongue in groove it is well constructed. I was thinking along the line’s that it could be art and craft, or maybe it could have been made in India, there are a few claws missing which leads me to believe it does have some age, any idea's would be much appreciated,

Well it’s a stunning piece that’s for sure but I can’t be any help,maybe if you could find out if the stones are real or man made gems,if real you’d expect it to be quite old and it might narrow your search a bit ? Any other marks bar 925 ?

Hi Ray,
Thanks for your comment, I have tested the stones and they all register, saying that man made stones also register. I asked a person who does know about these type of gems, from the photos he did say they are genuine, tomorrow I'm paying my jeweller a visit and ask him about the stones and age, I will give an update.

Oops, Ray, no there are no other marks that I can see.
My jeweller said the bracelet wasn’t old probably around 20 yrs, he didn’t know country of origin, all the stones are real, Sapphire, Topaz, Emerald, Ruby, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine and other stones. I’m learning towards, Indian, modern.
Still a stunning piece,you don’t see something like that every day that’s for sure,well worth adding to any collection .
