This sake set consists of a tokurri (flask) which is about 5" high x 3.5" in diameter, and two ochoko (cups) which are noticeably different in size and height, the smaller cup is taller and smaller in diameter. All these pieces bear the stamp of Kenji Hotta (1951-2017). The style of these pieces is called nerikome or neriage and involves layering different colors of clay. It is a form of Tokoname ware. Kenji Hotta was a highly regarded artist in this style. After his death, his son assumed control of the Kenji kiln.

I wonder if these cups are version of meoto yunomi, i.e., meoto ochoko?

Outstanding sake set! I love the swirled colors and it's always a plus to have the piece signed, like this one is.
