I found this perched on the edge of a dumpster. It’s made of plaster, with metal legs on a stone base, possibly slate, about 10” tall. There are no markings and I don’t know when or where it was made. Any ideas?

Yeah, I’m amazed and saddened by what’s considered garbage. Most of the items I post (particularly in my “stuff I found” collection) were rescued from the trash
