I know that clowns aren’t everyone’s ‘cup of tea’. But I have fallen for this one. I can see that life hasn’t been kind to him and certainly part of one of his hands is missing but this for me doesn’t detract for a second from the mastery of such a piece of work. The lady I purchased it from remembered her mother bringing it from Italy many years ago and the difficulties they had in wrapping it to ensure it didn’t get damaged then. I can only say I’m terribly glad to have met him and hope he stays around for a long time!
