    I have not a clue what name is written on this piece by now it's hard to read, all I know is it has wolsey co stamped into the wood.

      That seems to be about correct, having a better look at it myself.

      It’s hard to tell but I thought possibly Anderson with another letter before that. There are a few painters named J. Anderson but I couldn’t find a definitive match.

      I do not think it is a A there, doesn't seem to start off on the right stroke with the curve at the start but it's so faded in some parts it's hard to tell
