Got this from the car boot sale at Inglewood a few weeks ago, it was very dirty and there is still something in the base that refuses to come out, his mother had used it to store coins of all things but it cleaned up nicely.
I know the former owner quite well and he gave a me a deal I couldn't say no too.
I don't know what the plant is but I'm sure someone with more knowledge on flower/fruit will tell me.
250mm tall.
Looks like cherries to me, classic piece of Victorian glass!
Try a denture cleaning tablet or two overnight & that might shift the dirt...
Cherrylicious!
Thanks Marin and Karen, you both agree so they must be cherries. the branches are a bit faded so probably the cherries too which had me undecided as I wasn't sure if they might be flowers.
BEAUTIFUL vase!!!
