1953 Hires Root Beer Ashtray
Back to my ashtrays :)
This ashtray is very hard to find.
I matched it up to a 1953 bottle as I don't have a Hires can from the 1950's..... not yet anyways :)
I included a Charlie Brown nodder from the 1950s just because his shirt sorta' matches.
Fourth pic shows the period correct bottle cap.

My love for ashtrays it seems is inherent after collecting so many years. Some very good pieces. That little nodder is a treasure also. I do not have any nodders, although I still wish for a nice turtle one like my grandmother had in her car.
