Yes I went a bit silly when I visited Tony in February, but I was like a kid in a lolly shop. The decanter was a funny one it's an older piece from the Glass Plant days and he admitted he sold it to a retailer in Wellington in the 80s repurchased it at a charity shop close to where he lives now and made a bit more selling it to me. I didn't mind the price was good and his decanters don't pop up every day.
The ripple effect on the sides was done by rolling the glass when still hot on a stainless steel mesh.
Two others are from the "Urban Series" and the blue one is meant to be on it's top as that is the only ways it sits balanced.
The large green vase is made from 3 draws of glass, the last been clear.
