Thia was a super win on eBay AU! A classic piece of Victorian art glass that combines two popular forms - basket & rose bowl.
This basket is made from three layers of glass, clear over pink with a diamond quilted pattern, with a white interior.
There is a clear applied handle with a rustic thorn design, & an applied clear footed base. The incurved top rim has a clear crest.
Could be of either Bohemian or English origin, circa 1880s.
