I am looking for information on who made this desk. It was my Great Grandfather's and I know it was in Holland for a time, however I do not know it's origins, manufacturer, age, etc.

I am also unsure on what this E.T. looking alien head thing is.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It might have been made in the Dutch East Indies ..... the wood looks Eastern.

Dutch East Indies would make sense. My Great Grandfather owned a large shipping company from my understanding.

Those hostile looking eyes might have been a deterrent to anyone thinking of prowling thru the desk….
