Gilbert Johnson - Bimorphic Paperweight - Signed - 1972

This was the 3rd piece in a lot I got at the auction. Turned out to be the prize of the lot. A Gilbert Johnson Bimorphic Paperweight from 1972. Didn't find very much about Gilbert Johnson, hoping you know more about him. There is a signature at the outside rim of the base, the smallest, neatest signature I've ever seen etched into glass. "Gilbert Johnson 1972" I tried to capture the signature, but it's even hard to see when you have it in your hand.
