    Here is a 3"H red glass cygnet or baby swan which was originally designed by Royal Hickman for Heisey in the late 1940s, reissued by Dalzell Viking for the Heisey Collectors of America in the early 90s. HCA raised imprint shown in last photo, reverse side has a D for Dalzell Viking

      She is so cute! And very appropriate for this time of year when you see loads of these little creatures about- but she's got a lovely dark cerise colour. Her pose is really cute too- she could also be a duckling or gosling. :)

      Thanks Lauren & Penny for the love, and Lauren for your awesome praise for this little young swan, I agree cerise is a great definition for the color - it was supposed to be ruby red but that's the true color near sunlight. The baby swans are very sweet staying close to mom, and very like ducklings & goslings in that way
