Beautiful color and shape. If you know anybody with a spare Rhino I’ll take it to go with all the roosters, rabbits, ducks, cats and the occasional bobcat and alligator we have on our property.

Thank you Dean for your very kind praise for this rhino, I agree it was really well made & a surprise animal from Reijmyre

Many thanks DejaVu for the lovely compliment, I'm really happy that you found this beautiful

Thank you Dawn for the sweet praise for this rhino, yes it's always a bonus to have the sticker, particularly for i.d.ing Swedish animals as many co's made similar types

Falcon thank you for your great praise, he is quite a handsome looking rhino that was a lucky find, something unusual for a change

Thanks so much Bruce for your wonderful compliments, I was truly delighted that this special animal came my way to add to my collection, and I'm always glad to share it with you & my kind CW friends

Phil thank you for your super praise for this rhino, this grey glass is a perfect color for him and agree rhinos are very cool animals

Thank you JB for your terrific kind words & I am amazed at all the fabulous animals that are on your property, that's so great! You must need to fence some of them in to keep the bobcats & alligators away. My stepdaughter in Cocoa FL gets snakes and gators visiting her yard so BBQing is quite the challenge

Karen thank you for your awesome praise about my pix, have to admit that dark shading in glass animals makes for some difficult picture-taking! They do seem right for this rhino however, at least he's in a more true to life color, and it was fab to find one made by Reijmyre with good clean lines - I was flirting with a Langham rhino but the body had an odd shape, so voila here's this fella & I'm psyched to get a new animal

Thank you so much Scott for your super praise & love for my rhino, I'm so happy I found a new animal to post here! Trying to find more rare animals instead of the usuals but it's been a task. You are always in my corner & I'm totally grateful to you my friend

Very cool, at first I thought he was a hippo, but he's great! Lovely grey colour to him, which adds to his realism. Is he part of an endangered animal series, do you know? That would make a lot of sense, because I think you told me before there were whole sets of them?
    13. Newfld Newfld, 2 years ago
Hi Lauren & thank you so much for your fabulous praise, love & great question - yes rhinos are quite an endangered species, something like 27,000 left in the whole world, and some of their varieties have less than 10 animals, so sad. They are trying to breed them in captivity & hopefully will succeed. You're right, another Swedish glassmaker partnered with World Wildlife Fund in the 70s-80s to make an endangered species glass animal series & I have quite a few of those. Lol, I've thought hippos were rhinos too cause they're both huge animals, but the key is the horns which hippos don't have. He is quite cool, glad you thought so too - stay tuned, more unusual animals to come next wk!

Penny thank you so much for your thoughtful love as well I'm always most grateful, & glad you liked this unusual guy!
