Hello I thought I would post this as I’ve been looking at some of my watch collection from over the years, I don’t normally post such items on here. But I am posting for watch fans & to maybe get some help with more information about this watch as I can’t seem to find another like it to compare & Iam not sure how old it is, I think it’s ww1 or maybe just after.

Hmmm not sure. There's not enough serial numbers on the case, is there any other numbers inside? The Omega on the inside looks like it's crooked? And the dial logo appears to be a later(1975+)? More research needed. But not looking good. Beautiful case though..

This is my 1950 Omega. Would expect the inside to look like this..

Dennison was known to work with makers such as Omega..I would refer to a watch expert for validation. It's possible the case is real and watch is not...not certain, but watch is definitely not as old as it looks...just my opinion.

Thanks dav I think Dennison was making watch cases for Rolex as well around early 1900s, I have come across them before. This could be very early going by the serial numbers, the half hunter style watch like this date from around the ww1 time like the trench watch, I think they started converting pocket watches to wristwatches & Dennison used to make pocket watches I think.
This looks like it could have been a pocket watch

It's very probable that there was a different watch inside this case and it was replaced later?

Here's a link that shows how the cases were marked..
