Today I show you my latest acquisition. My second Sterling Silver gilt chatelaine . Many hallmarks including WM (see photo). This silver gilt chatelaine looks pristine and consists of a miniature nesessaire with scissors, gilt box as thimble holer, a needle case and a notepad with little ivory "pages". This kind of chatelaine was often worn by the seamstresses of wealthy ladies from higher circles. What is particularly nice is the image of a dog (see photo).
