57 to early 60's Chrysler products used a torsion bar instead of springs. you could set the height by turning the bar for torsion. I had a 62 Dodge I could almost put the front bumper on the ground. It made for one hell of a tire smoker.
It would tell you where to set the ride height. I just used a rule at the rocker panel.
A useless expensive tool never to be used again. Snap-on sold a lot of that sort of tools.
