Thanks Rose for the fantastic compliment!! I'm so happy you saw the "wow" factor here, it is a very eye catching peacock :)
Karen I did some research on Monet, yes they are still in business but it has changed hands several times over the yrs. It was started by two brothers in the 1930s, and last owner listed was the Liz Claiborne group. Monet always made very cheerful designs like this one & in pretty colors. Thank you friend for your terrific praise
Thank you Dawn for your marvelous compliment & I'm really pleased that you liked this peacock, the teal & aqua colored rhinestones are very true to the real colors of that flashy bird, & the little crown on its head is so cute
So pretty! He's a great brooch, peacocks do make a perfect focus for a brooch don't they? They're so proud and pretty and definitely come off as a little haughty ^^
His tail feathers, (or gems!) are ridiculously bright blue which is perfect for a peacock, he'll enjoy showing them off!
Thanks Lauren & Patricia for the love, always gratefully appreciated!
Lauren peacocks really are a great jewelry subject with their colorful beauty. Love to see the real males strutting around with their tails fanned out so you can see those gorgeous blue-green "eyes," I've seen many walking freely at animal parks, their real necks really do sparkle like jewels! This peacock brooch definitely looks like he's showing off! Thank you for your wonderful praise my friend
Thank you Pascale for loving this peacock brooch, really glad you liked it and truly grateful for your thoughtfulness
I know you love those brooches..I saw this and thought of you....

Thanks Dave, so nice of you to think of me I missed that story (& we do watch Fox alot), so how great to see that spectacular emerald & diamond dragonfly, wowza! It must have looked so beautiful on Queen Elizabeth at her '53 coronation, I know the other famous Elizabeth (Taylor) would have snapped that up in her day, her jewelry collection was legendary (I have the picture book, about as close as I'll ever get to those fabulous gems :) I am hoping to see some gorgeous pieces at the king's coronation this weekend, all that pageantry & celebrities should be a fun watch
Thank you Bronmar for the love for this peacock, very kind of you and always much appreciated
