EDIT: I just added a couple of photos of the bowl sitting on top of a light box- it looks more like glass now.

Hello! I found this bowl at an auction. I'm guessing it's mid-century. The turquoise blue color is gorgeous, with iridescence inside and out, and gold on the rim. It feels more like glass than pottery, and rings when tapped. The coating is more like a glaze than paint, or maybe it's the glass color? I would love to learn more about it. Thanks for your help!

      It's very beautiful.
The base looks more pottery than glass to me but it's hard to tell from photos.
      Even sometimes in the hand.
I have a Zsolnay vase amongst my glass that many think IS glass, even when they pick it up.

Thanks! The shape does look like pottery, but the sides "ping" like glass.
