    Hello, can anyone identify this. It is stamped BMG. I think it is a flashlight but it has a metal tip. When opened it has some sort of circuit. The diagram says that it fits 2 AA batteries but you cannot put 2 batteries because if this. Any ideas. thx

      Here's another one. Yours looks like it was modified to do something else! That looks like a CO2 cartridge. It's a penlight.

      BMG = Bridgeport Metal Goods.

      This is an audio test signal injector probe for troubleshooting electronic equipment. It has a little single-transistor oscillator built into it, and although the penlight case they used was originally designed for two AAA batteries, they cleverly were able to fit two "N" size batteries into the case to make it work. I've had one for 40 years, and still use it!
