This 1 1-2" pair of Spring butterfly pins have pastel green & pink rhinestones, with haloed marquise stone wings, on goldtone. By designer Suzanne Bjontegard ca the 1980s

Phil thank you for your awesome compliment, the navette stems are a really nice touch on these butterflies, a well made & atypical Bjontegard design using traditional rhinestones here rather than her preferred flashy 80s "disco" sequin type stones

Thanks so much DejaVu for your fab compliments, yes it's time we turned our thoughts to the lighter shades of Spring, although right now in NY it's cool and pouring rain which still feels like the tail end of winter. I don't like to complain though as I prefer coolish temps to the hot & humid ones up ahead :) Have one other Bjontegard animal to post soon, her figurals were so pretty & colorful
Love these little butterflies. The stone on the end of the antenna is just an added bonus. They are so detailed and exactly like Spring
Dawn thanks so much for the love and your super kind comment. I think this pair of butterflies says springtime with their pretty pastel stones & cute formation. They were early Bjontegard before she went into flashy "sequin" mode, I have one of those coming up soon

Penny thank you for your wonderful compliment, glad you liked these butterflies by Bjontegard - these are tame designs for her she's usually flashy 'disco 80s' - I have one of those by her that I hope will make you smile. Hey, boots are the way to go when you need some protection, after my gardener gets done & leaves clumps of grass all over the place I WISH I would remember to wear them, as cleaning off shoes is a real drag!
