I am wondering if this is Indian silver? (Narotamdas Beau) ? It is a beautiful set with no makers marks anywhere I can see. I am also not sure of material it is made from. The handles and finials are made of green celluloid.
Any help on age, maker or how to clean would be great.

The pattern of the ladies is on both sides of each piece.

The celluloid handles suggest post 1860. But the design of the pots looks post WWI.

      Hi vetraio50
Thank you. Yes I am thinking post WWI. Art Deco?

I’d say so …. I had a set with pink celluloid handles that I remember as being Indian in the 1970’s …. But without the engraving. In those days it was not considered of any import because we where all hunting for English Deco and Indian silver was yet to be ‘discovered’. These days …..

If you’re keeping them I’d just use a silver cloth …. Goddard’s in NZ ?.?

A lot of little bowls of India silver for me have been too soft and mishapen to know much about these, superb early art deco and the figures look old enough to be around 1920 or just before, beautiful !~
