I was enjoying a day reviewing images at the Smithsonian's virtual collection and came across the ink stand used by President Lincoln when he drafted the Emancipation Proclamation and thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool to have an example in my collection. Well It didn't take long. I found the same ink stand.
