    Perforator, Eyeleter and Tape Binder
    Advertised 1886-91
    Wyckoff, Seamans & Benedict
    Chicago, IL
The tape binder was used to bind manuscripts but was not included on this model.
Ads for devices like this perforator only slightly older appeared in 1886 and 1888.
Putting a date on this example is difficult as there are no references to it in catalogs or advertisements. This example could date to as early as 1886, but more likely prior to the name change in 1892.
In 1886, Wyckoff, Seamans & Benedict purchased the typewriter business from Remington and, in 1892, formed the Remington Standard Typewriter Company.
