This my newest and my 4th piece I own, I also have a silver deco platter as well.

I Got this today the fox river antique mall today they are going out of business the last day is June 15, I also bought the boy one from the same antique mall a few years ago and now the mother and son are reunited :) i do have other African, Figurines that are made out of pottery that are made in Austria as well.

Karl Hagenauer (1898-1956) was an influential Austrian designer belonging to the Art Deco school. He began training him at the age of eleven at The Vienna School of Applied Arts. He studied alongside other great artists such as Josef Hoffman and Oskar Strnad, beginning to create his first works at the Wiener Werkstätte. Karl joined the workshop of his father, also an artist, at the age of 20 after returning from war service.
