Asian Carved Wood Figure /Immortal "Shoulao" God of Longevity / Mid-Century

I've had this guy for a while. He sits on a small chest against the living room wall. Standing about 18" tall he's carved from some exotic wood possibly rosewood. Shoulao is the god of longevity. The figure includes other symbols associated with him including a young child and the crane. Sadly poor Mr. Crane is missing the center section of one of his legs. In terms of age I'd say not very old 50's 60's. In terms of over all quality I'd say fair to average others can be gorgeously intricate depending on the artist. That being said I love his facial expression which I think is very well done. -Mike-
