Several years ago I posted a small atomizer bottle https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/136847-a-ruckl-bottle-for-atomizr. Now at the same fair on Saturday on Belgrano Street we found a vase with the same decoration, Sergio payed about 30 U$ for it.. It is very interesting, the layers of colored glass are superimposed, the night blue on top of the yellow and red and it has a layer of colorless glass on top. At the base of this vase the pontil is very well polished. All the work is very careful. I have placed a photo from the album of an exhibition whose comment I put translated from Czech. https://rover.rajce.idnes.cz/Tango_sklo/album Thanks for watching and any feedback.
Comment of the album: This exhibition entitled "Tango Glass" in the exhibition space of Havlí?ek House. Just before the First World War, the Argentine tango dance began to dominate the dance floors of European cities, bringing not only the lively movements but also the still unusually vivid colours of the dance costumes. Under the impression of this fashionable dance, the distinctively coloured red, orange and yellow glass and contrasting decors came to be called Tango glass, which over time became an unmissable phenomenon of Czech and European glassmaking. From both Czech and foreign collections, it presents the usual commercial production of glassworks as well as top design creations by leading artists and architects. The exhibition was organised by the Glass Museum in Nový Bor and the author of the exhibition is a specialist in the history of glass production, PhDr. Jitka Ln?ni?ková.
There are also an interesting post here in collectorsweekly https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/255078-anton-ruckl-and-sons--new-information-abo?in=all, there there are a catalogue page with decors similar to this one.
