Found this neat little trophy vase at GW yesterday. Nestled high up in back on the top shelf of the glass rack where I couldn't reach it. Actually it was barely visible. I missed it the first time around. I was able to coax it forward from below putting my fingers through the space between the wires. Lucky they don't use the shelf liner here like some places. Once I got it down I checked it over for chips..zero ! Flipped it over "Red Wing" 871.. Bingo ! Done in a greenish- yellow (chartreuse ?) finely speckled glaze with a pale turquoise interior it stands 7.5 " and the top measures 6" in diameter. Red Wing seems scarce here. I think I've only come across this piece and one other in my collecting. The other being a small grey MCM 3 legged bowl designed by Charles Murphy that I posted ages ago. My nosey boy Jules had to get in on the picture. :) -Mike-
