This was a super buy it now on eBay AU, a classic example of Victorian art glass.
The vase is made from clear glass with broad pink & white bands in the Cleveland Stripe design. It measures 14 cm tall, 14 x 13 cm across the square, crimped rim, & 7 cm across the base, which has a rough pontil mark.
I think the unusual square top makes this extra special.
Most likely English origin, possibly by Thomas Webb & Sons, circa 1880s.

Very nice ! Looks like candy. Certainly "eye candy. Cleveland is about a 30 minute drive from where I live in Ohio. First time I've heard of this pattern. Wonder if there is some connection possibly to women's fashion during that time period. :)

      See what your knowledge does?
I would have seen this om eBay and thought little of it.
      Well done.

      Thanks also, mikelv85!
I'm not sure how the name came about...I learned of it from researching glass fairy lamps, where this was a popular pattern. There is an old catalogue page documenting it.

      Many thanks, Karen!
What my knowledge also does is lead me into buying more stuff & spending too much money, LOL! ;-)
