This 1 1-2" ship's wheel silvertone brooch has blue & red patriotic rhinestone colors, with Kramer of New York in cartouche on back, ca the 1960s
Best wishes for Memorial Day weekend, hope you enjoy my marine posts this wk as the beaches are open & it's sailing season here on Long Island NY. Respectful thoughts remembering our loved ones incl those with military service, thank you to all
Absolutely gorgeous ship wheel brooch, with the beautiful stones!! A kind way to show appreciation to American veterans and those in active service.
A gorgeous grand ship's wheel put through the test of our memories !~
I adore your ship's wheel brooch, and it's certainly unique with its 9 spokes (most ship's wheels in real life have 8, 6 or very rarely 10)! And the intense red with the pale blue is just stunning. An absolutely lovely piece with a special and very distinctive design.
Have a good Memorial Day weekend all & thank you for the love

Thanks so much DejaVu for your wonderful thoughtful comment, I'm really glad you liked this patriotic Kramer wheel. Seems I'm drawn to these ship wheels in jewelry on vet holidays & it probably has something to do with my dad having been a Navy man :) It is a good time to reflect on those who served, I just watched a segment on the news about POW survivors of various wars, very humbling & they deserve so much gratitude
Phil thank you for your super comment for this wheel, I think the silvertone spokes make it very cool looking, with a sparkly touch of rhinestone enhancement
Thank you rhineisfine for your great comment & cool observ about the number of spokes on a ship wheel, did not know that it's very good to know! I guess Kramer took "jewelers license" creating this one, and while pretty with the rhinestone accents it does have a seafaring look & makes one think of being on a ship, which I've only done a couple times i.e. a Bahamas cruise, the Staten Island ferry etc. But living on an island we do see boats all the time, they actually dock them at a marina at the end of our street
Many thanks Ralph for your kind love of this ship's wheel, I truly hope you and your family are having a great Memorial Day weekend, we are just relaxing & did a bit of walking today, nice weather here lately
Thanks Daisy for loving this ship's wheel brooch, very happy that you liked it and always grateful for the kind support
Many thanks Tilted & rgrebov for the love, I'm so glad you both liked this ship's wheel!
