Hope you have a strong stomach. Look away if you can ! I think the only response to this work is "what the he)) " !! I've had this for a long time and hidden away. Not even sure where it came from other than a thrift store. A fellow CW member Cinco11 posted his organic pot recently. So I thought about this. It defies classification but it has some merit in that it does elicit a response which all art should, good or bad . I thought possibly a beheaded dragon. Maybe should have saved it for a Halloween post. Wednesday Addams would be proud to own this creepy thing. Maybe put some rose thorns in it like Morticia. -Mike-

My first thought on your thumbnail pic was St Paddy's Day green glazed doughnut lol. But seriously, looks like the potter was having a really bad day, it happens right :)

I like the Roycroft definition of art... Anything done by a man or a woman on paper, canvas, marble or a musical keyboard that people pretend to understand, and sometimes buy. :)

Maybe the artist was recalling the day he ate something he shouldn’t have. ;^D

I can't like it Mike but I do love it.
Art should be visceral, and this sure is.

I would be quite funny to put a rose in it….maybe display it in your guest bathroom next time you have guests. ;^D

LOL Thanks for the "loves" and comments Karen and Watchsearcher and the interior decor suggestions. Frankly I was hoping this was a long lost George Orr piece. ;)
