This lovely deep ruby red and iridescent gold dish is in the Fenton pattern with grapes and diamonds. The colour is much more intense than the photos show. It is 6" across and carries the 1970's Fenton mark in an oval.

Thanks clockerman, it's much better in the flesh, I've tried adjusting the colour in the photos, but can't get it right .

Happy to see that Fenton glass can be found in England! It is great art glass.

Hello kwqd, there is quite a lot of carnival glass about, mostly "marigold" which I don't usually buy. The colour of this one stood out though and I also have a vase in cobalt blue. I usually keep the pieces which have a uranium green base, others I identify, if I can, then sell on, sellers don't often appreciate their value. By the way I'm still keeping an eye out for your sleeping cat.

Thanks, NevB! The sleeping cat is a tough one! Especially for a marked piece..
