Look and that expression ! He certainly knows he's a handsome fellow :)
Aww! He's so cute. Love his smile!!!
Wow what a fantastic piece of pottery! I had not heard of Artesania Rinconada before so I locked them up.
Their wares are so much fun and so well made.
Thanks for the great intro, Jenni

Mike he's definitely rather pleased with himself, perhaps because of his fancy new blanket! The Rinconada animals all have so much personality which is why I love them. Thank you for your marvelous comment
Thank you DejaVu for your awesome comment & seeing the cute factor here and enjoying his happy look, nice that they gave him so many golden accents & pretty blue eyes. Love the blanket colors & design too
Karen I'm so glad you looked up Artesania Rinconada, as usual I'm remiss in the description, sheer laziness - I should also add that most of these anniversary series animals were made by their artist Jorge DeRosa. Don't they make beautiful animals, I'm lucky to have several and one more coming up to post. Thank you my friend for your fabulous comment
Thanks so much Phil for your terrific comment & I'm glad you found this guy happy, he's really got it going on :) The Egypt doc must have been fascinating, I love all those travel & nature shows because there is always something new to discover about animals. I actually thought this Rinconada camel was a llama at first glance (that long neck) but on reading about them, they are in the same related group which I did not know
Cute little different camel isn't he? I love his pose, he's seated, waiting out a sandstorm in the desert...or maybe resting at night by the palm trees in an oasis!
Reminds me a bit of Turkish tiles too, which is very fitting for what he is! ;)
Thank you Lauren for your always super insight & praise for this camel, lovely picture of him waiting out a sandstorm or resting at an oasis :) I think it's so cool how camels just spring up from a seated position, they are very fast for a big animal. Yes his blanket has a very Turkish tile look, great eye!
So grateful for the love as well Pascale & Lauren you're both absolutely terrific
Thanks Ralph & Mani for the love for this camel, very glad you both liked it and always grateful for your kindness
Thank you Vet for loving this camel, you're always so kind to me and I'm truly grateful for your thoughtfulness
