An element of luck can come into glass collecting. A few weeks ago I saw a golden bowl with random bands of deep red, plus a delicate additional geometric pattern, identified as Harrach. So when I saw this vase on ebay.uk I didn't hesitate. This too has been identified as Harrach although I confess I'd never seen its like before. This example has a floral décor with a bird and a dragonfly.
The close ups of the details give the most accurate interpretation of the actual colour of the vase.
Height 20 cm./8 inches
so peculiar, the glass and this japonism picture translucent..... waw I would go on staring at it for a long time....
