This 2 1-4"L goldtone seahorse brooch has a patch design of small white rhinestones alternating with ivory & black enamel, and one green eye. By Gem-Craft of Providence RI with their craft + copyright mark of the 1970s
Very nicely cast piece, nice quality !~
Lovely seahorse- I'm noticing an aquatic theme with your uploads this week Jenni!
Seahorses are so gentle and elegant creatures, and very tiny... and a bit understated like this lovely brooch, but pretty all the same! :)
Love the mosaic style use of the black and white on the body .
Thank you so much everyone for the love

Thanks Phil for your fabulous praise for this ocean creature, you know I am "seahorse- happy" from my profile pic right, every time I see a pretty one I can't resist
Lauren it is definitely an aquatic theme this week because World Oceans Day was yesterday! And of course my favorite sea animal has to be part of my posts. It is kind of understated but very true to the body shape of the seahorse. Thanks as always for your terrific compliments & great eye
Thank you Mike for your awesome praise for the style of this fellow, Gem-Craft made several varieties of this seahorse (I have another posted here) and there is a gorgeous coral & white enamel version out there that I just missed getting, so sad as these rarely come around again
Thanks Ralph & Amusedmedley for the love for this seahorse, it's very kind of you both and always gratefully appreciated
Many thanks clockerman for loving my little seahorse, very pleased that you liked it and truly appreciate your kindness

Thanks to you all for your super praise for this seahorse, how could I not include them in my World Oceans Day tribute :) Very mysterious ocean creatures, they glide thru the water til they see tiny fish food, then speed up. This is a pretty nice brooch version, Gem-Craft really got the shape right
Thanks Pascale & kivatinitz for the love for this seahorse, you're both so nice & I'm very grateful for your kind appreciation
