    Hello. I need help identifying this rocking chair. I would also love to find any pictures of this chair either restored or in some better shape than mine as I would love to have mine restored or brought to better condition!! Thank you for any help!!!

      Its like a North Wind chair. There are many varieties of this chair around as many furniture manufacturers had their resident carver. Sometimes they are called Old Man of the North chairs, but rarely. The oldest of these kind of chairs and tables were probably made in Georgian Ireland in the 1760's although most like yours were made in Victorian times and early 1900's in North America. Look up images of North Wind chair. Finding the actual company would be like winning a lottery on this one as 99% of manufacturers left no records at all !~
