Scottish Terrier Gooseneck Desk Lamp / 1930's

This cute little guy was a gift from my sister courtesy of one of the many auctions she has attended. It does work having a newer cord and plug that's still quite old but not original. I think it would have had a cloth cord and acorn plug originally. The base feels cool like stone but I think it's a composite of some kind. The Scottie is nicely modeled and made of some type of base metal that still shows traces of it's original gold finish. It sits with the rest of my Scottie collection on top my defunct Korg Concert C-10 Digital Piano. All attempts to repair it have not lasted. One thing after another keeps failing. The latest being the power supply board. Plus,the 90's surface capacitors were horrible in all electronics of the day. I just don't have the heart to pitch it. So the top is a display area. -Mike-
