The 6.18 ct., emerald cut, natural, diamond has been remounted into it's original platinum setting and ring (# 1258 ). ------ Tap on each of the above 4 pictures to magnify and view. ------ The historically invaluable, Bell Diamond was left behind by Lucille M. Bell, wife of Lawrence Dale "Larry" Bell, Founder of The Bell Aircraft Company. -- The Bell Aircraft Company is today known as 'The Bell Helicopter Company", or "Bell" or more recent, "Bell Flight". -- Bell Flight is known around the world as the leader in vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, supplying VTOL aircraft for military, civilian, corporate and municipal applications. - Bell aircraft are used by The United States Airforce, the British Royal Air Force, ( R.A.F. ), and other military and civilian organizations, worldwide. ----- This natural diamond had to be removed from it's mounting in order for the G.I.A. inspection and report to be conducted and completed. ---- The "Gemological Institute of America", G.I.A., report number is 1132617303. -- color grade 1 and the clarity grade is VS1 ---- This 6.18 ct. emerald cut diamond ring has never been sold and is privately owned. ---- The remounting of this natural diamond into it's original setting and ring, was under the guidance and control of Master Jeweler, Todd Fogle of Perry's Estate Jewelry, of Charlotte, N.C. -- work was completed 6/16/2023. ---- The platinum ring is numbered - 1258 - 10% Irid. Plat. --- There is one rectangular diamond mounted on each side of the ring shank directly under the much larger emerald cut diamond. ----- A ring sizing guard is also mounted on the ring shank . ----- The ring, without the ring guard, is a size 7. ----------- Google -- The Bell Diamond of Larry Bell, of The Bell Aircraft Company, for the G.I.A. report number and other information.
