This belonged to my mother. Art glass was one of her many loves and I want to say this had been around since the 70s. She told me all about it and now I can't remember a thing.

It's matte black but with a high sheen in well lit areas. The green swirls are similar- lightly iridescent in normal lighting but really pops in bright areas. Glass is thin and delicate, but tough. I think it's boro. It looks to be blown, but at the same time, too perfect. It's confounding! No visible signature. Please tell me what you know. Thanks.

After looking at the stopper, I've come to the conclusion this must have been clear borosilicate blown into a mold, then black ultra fine micro-grit was applied to the surface, along with some green iridescent glaze and perhaps some loose stringing in white. That's my story and I'm sticking to it til otherwise informed.
