Here is an 8"W red glass goose with wings up, original clear glass Heisey version #3 from 1942-1953, reissued by Mosser Glass in 1993 for the Heisey Collectors of America and marked HCA 93 on lower left side (seen in photo #4), also has a raised M imprint for Mosser on lower rt side
You know I have to love the delicious colour, Jenni.
That neck looks fragile all stretched out like that so it's good it has survived.
I'm not sure if we would survive a goose approaching is with this attitude! Hisssss...
What a stunning goose!!!! Such a fabulous design! I love how she looks to be either landing or about to take flight. Outstanding piece of art glass!
Great Ruby Red color on this piece! Very Nice!
Now that's one cool goose, it's always swans, but a goose? That's a rarity! Nice to see a goose made to be as elegant looking as a swan. Her pose too is lovely, looks like she's taking off from the water, as real geese do.
Gorgeous Canada Goose to capture us with, superb !~
With thanks to you all for the kind love

Thanks Karen for your super praise for this goose, I know, with that long neck it's amazing it survived without breaking - I once posted a tall delicate gazelle that I had to buy again because the 1st one broke in transit. Ha you're so right, the geese and white ducks are always hissing & even chasing you, they're very protective of their families
DejaVu thank you for your really great compliments, so glad you enjoyed this goose. I'm pretty sure this is another Royal Hickman design, his animals are so graceful & have an extra beauty to them - I'd love to get some of the bigger ones but they're quite expensive
Thank you Falcon for your lovely praise for this 'Mosser red', it's a great true red color that although not very transparent, comes out real red without needing too much extra sunlight (some reds get pinkish in indoor lighting)
Thank you Lauren for your fab compliments for ms. goose, she does appear to be taking off esp as seen from front angle in third photo. I do have more swans than geese as they were more popular window glass birds back in the day
A Canada goose for sure Phil, although I think the US has 'adopted' your geese as they are prevalent here esp in NY state. I've probably said it before, we have strict laws that geese have "right of way" crossing any road, so annoyed drivers must wait as they leisurely cross with their chicks in tow, slowly ambling along :) Thank you for your wonderful & perceptive praise
Many thanks Cindy for the love for this Heisey goose, really glad you liked it and truly appreciate your thoughtfulness
kivatinitz thank you for the thoughtful loves for my posts today, very kind of you and I truly appreciate it - glad you liked this red glass goose
Thanks Mike & Cinco11 for the love, very nice of you both & always much appreciated
JB thanks again for always remembering me when you stop by, I'm truly grateful and really miss seeing you here!
